Every year, many exciting events take place in Mallorca. Several of them are international events, especially when it comes to sports events. Here we have collected some of the biggest Mallorca events.
Trofeo S.A.R. Princesa Sofia Mallorca 2024 || 29 March – 6 April 2024
Every year since 1968, the sailing elite has competed in the Bay of Palma. Several Olympic boat classes are sailed, including the 49er and the 470. Windsurfing and kitesurfing are other popular disciplines. In the past Spanish Queen Sofia has attended this prestigious race several times.

Ironman 70.3 Alcúdia-Mallorca || 11 May 2024
According to the organizers, Mallorca 70.3 is one of the world’s most popular Ironman’s at the distance of 70.3. The distance 70.3 refers to the total length of the race in miles, which corresponds to 113 kilometers. The 113 kilometers are divided into 1.9 km of swimming in the bay of Alcudia, 90 km of cycling in Mallorca’s hilly terrain and finally 21.1 km of running in Port d’Alcudia.

Mallorca Live Festival 2024 || 13-15 Juni 2024
Mallorca Live Festival gets bigger and bigger every year. The festival is held on the outskirts of the popular holiday resort Magaluf, where music from more than 50 artists and bands is played from several stages. In 2024, the headliners are Pet Shop Boys, Underworld and Blondie.

ATP 250 Mallorca Championships || 22 June – 29 June 2024
The ATP 250 Mallorca Championships started as part of the ATP 250 tour in 2021. The tournament is played on grass courts in Santa Ponsa. For many players, the tournament serves as preparation for Wimbledon, the world’s most prestigious tennis tournament played on grass.

Des Güell a Lluc a Peu – The night of the pilgrims || 3 August 2024
Every year on an evening in August, more than 10,000 people make a pilgrimage from Palma de Mallorca to the monastery of Lluc. The participants on this 50 km trekking tour are both locals and tourists of virtually all ages. It is said that most Majorcans try their hand at Des Güell a Lluc a Peu at some point in their lives.
