Es Can Curt
Es Can Curt is a small beach on the south coast of Mallorca, located between the more well-known beaches Es Dolc and Es Carbó.
The beach in general
Like many of the beaches on the south coast of Mallorca, Es Can Curt is a true natural beach. The surroundings are unique, which is why the area behind the beach is an official nature park.
At 70 metres long and 20 metres wide, Es Can Curt is the smallest beach in the area, but it is not well known and amazingly never crowded.
The beach is covered with fine-grained sand and the clear water only slowly deepens. Less than 400 metres out in the water is the small island of Na Guardis with one of Mallorca’s characteristic lighthouses.
Please note that there are no facilities at Es Can Curt.
Child-friendly
Es Can Curt is very child-friendly with its fine sand and shallow water.
Water sports activities
There are no water sports activities at Es Can Curt. At the neighbouring beach Es Dolc it is possible to rent pedal boats, while the range of water sports activities is slightly larger at Es Port beach in the resort of Colonia Sant Jordi.
Restaurants at the beach
There are no restaurants or similar, but on the neighbouring beach Es Dolc there is a nice beach bar that doubles as a café with partially covered seating.
Nearest holiday resort
The nearest holiday resort is Colonia Sant Jordi, located 1.1 km from Es Can. A lovely holiday resort that has it all without being overly touristy. It also has one of the best urban beaches in Mallorca.
It’s also in Colonia Sant Jordi that those arriving by rental car should park their car before heading to Es Can Curt or one of the neighbouring beaches.

Es Can Curt can be seen approximately in the centre of the map in the very small bay. To the east is Es Carbo and to the north is Es Dolc. In the top left corner of the map you can see the marina in Colonia Sant Jordi.
