Porto Colom is a nice little village situated 8 kilometres from Cala d'Or.

The beach in general
The main beach of Porto Colom is the beach Cala Marcal. It is situated 500 metres from Porto Colom and is a beautiful sea inlet that becomes wider towards the coast.

The sand is fine and the water clear and clean.

Beach facilities include sun loungers, parasols, showers and toilets. Parking is possible close to the beach.

Child friendly
The beach has a gentle slope and is very suitable for children.

The beach also offers a small playground.

Water sports  
Pedal boats. The snorkeling conditions are very good along the cliffs. Clear water and lots of pretty fish.

Beach restaurants
Some restaurants on the side of the beach and a beach bar direct at the beach.

The resort Porto Colom
Porto Colom still remains a small traditional fishing village and has the largest natural harbour in Mallorca. The resort is rather quiet and popular with British visitors who want a relaxed holiday.

The Mallorcan hotel chain JS Hotels offers two hotels in Porto Colom. JS Cape Colom is exclusively for adults and offers a popular spa and wellness area. The other hotel, JS Es Corso, is ideal for families.
